This Sterling Silver (92.5%) pendant is a copy of the traditional "Thali" or mangalsutra worn by married women from Coorg in Karnataka ; it has a traditional round shape with a serpent at the helm and the image of goddess Lakshmi at the center. It is fixed on a handwoven cotton thread. The necklace has been paired with matching earstuds that come with a screw back closure (bombay screw).
